The vanilla in this discolours a lot in soap and seeps to neighbouring sections BUT it is a wonderful mild scent that reminds me of that sweet woody vanilla-ish smell when you walk into an old cabin, or open an old chest or even open an old book. (the olfactory notes from aging wood, and paper are similar to the ones for fermented vanilla beans so it makes sense)
It's a great mixer too, and adds a lovely warm and comforting note to other fragrances.
Smells like fresh baked goods in a log cabin. I used 30g to 1kg of CP soap under 100 degrees F. I'm prefer lighter scents and quite enjoy this one. Behaves well, no acceleration or ricing. Does discolour but worked really nicely in my woodgrain design. Will buy it again.
Of course at 11% it morphs. I thought adding it onlyto my black base would work, but sadly, my witches brew is now a dark woodgrain.
The description doesn't quite catch the scent. In fact I cant describe the scent, but its nice. I keep going by and sniffing it trying to figure it out. Not woodsy, but masculine and strong vanilla.
Usually I add 30g to 1kg soap for scent, could probably half that amount with this one.
