what does everyone use as a usage rate in your cp soaps? Stewart
I added my lye water at 133 degrees , I had no problems, love the smell. Traced nicely , I did add mica powder for a nice creamy colour. I will add this to my collection.
I soap at 85°. I separated off for colours at emulsion. By the time I stirred in two different colour bowls, the third one was already pudding. Haven’t had this kind of acceleration in a long time. Should’ve gone with my first instinct to make a pure white bar. Perhaps if I would’ve added the fragrance to each of the separate colour bowls, I maybe could’ve got my swirl pattern. Im not sure what it will look like tomorrow when I cut it open. Hoping I don’t have air pockets because I did put my rod in there and swirl the colours around in hopes that I could still make a pattern. If the soap smells great I would probably make it again, but just do a plain white bar.
Works well in cp soap and smell stays
