I made a batch using this FO today and it turned out beautifully. I put aside some of the soap to use as whipped cream so didn't use the FO in it. Soaped at room temp and no water discount and actually had to wait some time for it to firm up a bit in the mold before adding the topping. No ricing or acceleration doing it this way. Love the scent.
Love this scent, although it turned my pumpkin powder and safflower powder brown in my CP soap.
I had to move fast with this scent even at room temp.
Behave well but I used slow trace recipe. Smells is delicious and lasts. What I didn't keep for myself sold very well. Will be ordering again.
This fragrance oil is everything! I used this in my CP soap and it soaped wonderfully, no acceleration, ricing, or any funny business. Smells good enough to eat ???? if you are looking for a fall fragrance scent, this is it!
I took my chance with this fragrance oil in CP and it turned out great! I mixed at 95 degrees and just until emulsified not trace, so I could have more time to work with colors. I added the fragrance oil in right at the moment of pouring so that I would eliminate any problems. It behaved really well for me. No ricing, soap on a stick, or even cracks as it cooled. It worked great with the dark orange and brown colors I chose too. (I used a vanilla stabilizer).
Love, love, love the smell of this. It was exactly what I had hoped it would smell like when I opened it and used it in my CP soap.
However, working with it was another story. It immediately turned the nice, thin batter to a yellow glue (so be prepared for that when planning your colours and be prepared to move fast-even with things at room temp). Then it was on the counter and within 5 minutes it was so hot that it had developed HUGE cracks all across the top. Not little cracks but deep ones.
