Glycolic Acid Face Wash
Glycolic acid is a natural-occurring exfoliant derived from sugar that helps exfoliate dead surface skin cells and support natural cellular turnover. It is considered to be one of the safest cosmetic options among alpha hydroxy acids. Our skin is assaulted daily with dust, bacteria and other pollutants. Washing your face daily will help remove these impurities, revitalize your skin, ward off potential blemishes and allow other beneficial applications to penetrate and absorb into skin efficiently.
Glycolic acid brings fresh new skin to the surface as it safely removes the outer layer of dead skin cells, a process which helps correct discoloration caused by sun spots or aging. This formulation contains 3% glycolic acid to provide a gentle but effective cleanse. This product is phthalate free.
NOTE: When reselling this base, a warning label is recommended such as “This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for one week afterwards.”

Directions:
Use unscented (as-is) or add Fragrance or Essential oils at a ratio of 0.6%. Scent lightly to prevent irritation. Colourants are not recommended.. This is a cold mix base, meaning that heating is not recommended. Simply add scent directly to the base and hand stir with a spatula. No solubilizer needed. The addition of other ingredients should be tested in small batches to ensure compatibility.

Shelf Life: Minimum 1 year from date of purchase when stored sealed in cool, dry place away from light.
