Cotton Candy Bath Salt

This bath salt is super easy to make and is a fun addition to bath time. Printable recipe can be found under the 'Documents' tab.

Yield: 13 oz of bath salt.

INGREDIENTS:

-           6 oz European Spa Salt - Medium

-           6 oz Pink Himalayan Sea Salt - Medium

-           1 oz Sodium Bicarbonate

-           30 drops Cotton Candy Twist Fragrance Oil

-           5 drops Berry Blue EZ Color

REQUIRED TOOLS:

-           2 Medium Sized Bowls

-           Small Cup

-           Dropper

DIRECTIONS:

1. Measure each of the salts into separate bowls.

2. Add 5 drops (or to preference) of the Berry Blue EZ Color into the bowl of European Spa Salt - Medium. Add 15 drops of Cotton Candy Twist Fragrance Oil. Mix until it is an even blue colour. Allow to fully dry.

3. Add 15 drops of Cotton Candy Twist Fragrance Oil to the Pink Himalayan Sea Salt - Medium. Stir and allow to dry.

4. Add the Pink Himalayan Sea Salt - Medium to the blue European Spa Salt - Medium. Stir together.

5. Stir in Sodium Bicarbonate. Allow to sit for a few minutes to ensure salts are dry. 

6. Package and label as desired. We used the Premium Cello Cone Bag (12 x 6). Enjoy!

NOTES: 

• Gases can form in salt and sodium bicarbonate mixtures. It is recommended that they are not put in glass jars, as this could crack the glass.
