Yield: (6) 1.76 oz bars.
INGREDIENTS:
- 4.25 oz Cocoa Butter - Natural
- 2.05 oz White Beeswax
- 2.85 oz Coconut Oil
- 0.70 oz Almond (Sweet) Oil
- 0.35 oz Shea Butter - White Refined
- 0.15 oz Lotion Bar Additive, Smooth & Creamy
- 0.15 - 0.25 oz (4 - 7 ml) Mint Chocolate Cookie Fragrance Oil
- 1/4 tsp Vitamin E Oil
- Crafter's Choice Square Guest Silicone Mold 1609
REQUIRED TOOLS:
- Double Boiler OR Microwave
- Metal Melting Pot OR Microwave safe bowl
- Scale
- Spatula
- Measuring Teaspoon
DIRECTIONS:
1. Add the Cocoa Butter - Natural, White Beeswax, Coconut Oil, Almond Oil, Organic Shea Butter - White Refined and Lotion Bar Additive, Smooth & Creamy to a melting pot (if using a double boiler) or to a microwave safe bowl (if using a microwave). Heat just until completely melted. Remove from heat.
2. Stir in Mint Chocolate Cookies Fragrance Oil and Vitamin E.
3. Evenly pour the mixture into mold cavities.
4. Allow to fully cool and harden. Package as desired. Enjoy!
NOTES:
- Overheating may result in an uneven tone in the lotion bar. This is not inherently a bad thing, but it does affect the appearance of the bar.
- Once hardened, try to avoid over handling of the bar outside of use as the heat from your hands will start to melt the bar.
- Just a little bit of lotion goes a long way!
