Crafters Choice™ Detergent Free Baby Buttermilk Soap Base
Crafters Choice™ Baby Buttermilk Melt and Pour Soap Base is DETERGENT FREE and LOW SWEAT. It contains buttermilk, oatmeal, calendula extract and real honey for exemplary moisturizing benefits. It's a white base that is easy to unmold and holds fragrance. Finished soap performs like Cold Process Soap! There's no need to wrap bars and loaves of soap to prevent sweating and for that reason we say “it’s like cold process soap”. You will find that, like traditional CP Soap Base, unwrapped soap will cure and shrink a bit overtime. The base is softer upon unmolding and then hardens while it cures….this is ideal for those selling “slice your own” soap loaves. Note: This soap does not contain detergents.

Directions: On low heat, warm base to 140º F or until it becomes liquid. Add cosmetic grade fragrance and FDA approved colour additive. Pour into mold. Spritz with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to return to room temperature and un-mold. Wrap in an air tight wrap. Label as per Health Canada label requirements. Note: Do not exceed this product’s “Maximum Fragrance Load”. We do not recommend adding soap making oils & butters to MP soap as they will significantly decrease your lather. When using the soap, if the soap bubbles are not white then too much colour has been used.
