Calming Lavender Clay Mask
This clay mask is a great way to cleanse and soothe your skin as you wind down for the night. Printable recipe can be found under the 'Documents' tab.
Yield: (2) 4 oz jar
INGREDIENTS:
- 4.50 oz Aloe Vera Gel
- 2.10 oz Rhassoul Clay
- 0.40 oz Lavender Powder
- (2) Clear, Heavy Wall Plastic Jar - 120 mL (70/400)
- (2) 70/400 White Ribbed Lid w Liner
REQUIRED TOOLS:
- Small - Medium Sized Bowl
- Large Spoon
- Hand Mixer
- Spatula
- Scale
DIRECTIONS:
1. Weigh out Aloe Vera Gel, Rhassoul Clay and Lavender Powder into the bowl.
2. Mix with a spatula until fully incorporated.
3. Using a hand mixer, beat the mixture on low speed until fluffy.
4. Scoop evenly into jars and close with lid immediately. Enjoy!
NOTES:
- To prevent the product from drying out prematurely, it is recommended to keep the lid on the product unless being used immediately.
- The mask should only be left on for 5 - 10 minutes before gently washing it off. Do not leave mask on for more than 10 minutes. Avoid scrubbing when removing the mask
- Keep away from eyes.
- It is normal to experience some redness after using a face mask but it should not be itchy, burning, or stinging. Redness should go away within approximately 30 minutes after removing the mask. If redness lasts longer than 30 minutes or if irritation occurs, discontinue use.
