Lotion, Satin & Silk Body

This is a ready to use lotion base that contains Shea Butter, Aloe, Silk Amino Acids, Sunflower and Coconut Oils. It can be used as is or you can add colour and fragrance to it. It contains more than 97% naturally derived ingredients. It does not clog pours and has been shown to protect, hydrate and nourish the skin. The emulsion accepts most oil & water additives. Paraben Free.

Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Isopropyl Myristate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth 20, Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Dimethicone, Stearyl Alcohol, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Hydrolyzed Silk, Aloe Barbadensis, Disodium EDTA, Diazolidinyl Urea, Benzophenone 4, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate. More Info: Shea Butter and Aloe are well known in helping to moisturize and repair skin damage. Sunflower Oil is rich in Vitamin E and provides a natural anti-oxidant. Silk Amino Acids provide a protective barrier and a silky note to the lotion. It does not contain mineral oil.

Directions: On low heat, warm base to 120º F (48.9ºC) or until it becomes liquid. Add cosmetic grade fragrance and body safe colour. Pour into container. Allow to return to room temperature and apply top. Label as per Health Canada label requirements. Maximum Fragrance: 4% Maximum Heating Temperature: 140º F (60º C) *Maximum Temp Note: If a base is heated over “Maximum Heating Temperature” for greater than 5 minutes the current preservative system can be rendered inactive and additional preservative is required to prevent the growth of mold, bacteria and fungus. If more than 5% additives are incorporated into the base, the current preservative system will be diluted and additional preservative will be required.

Recommended Colour Additives: Liquid Dye, Mica Powder, Mica Liquid

Maximum Fragrance Note: Some fragrance and essential oils may thin or thicken this base. You will want to conduct performance testing to ensure your final product performs as you desire.
