Cocoa Butter - Deodorized

Deodorized Cocoa Butter is extracted from the cacao bean and is deodorized to remove the natural chocolate scent. It is hard at room temperature and has a light brown/white-ish appearance. It's rich in natural antioxidants and vitamin E, and has a long shelf life. It is commonly used in soap, lotions, lipbalms and so much more. It's fully deodorized to remove that characteristic chocolate scent making it the cocoa butter of choice when you want limited scent interference with your finished product.

- In response to a question regarding the use of cocoa butter for oily, acne prone skin. Answer: There are many factors that contribute to the kind of skin you have, and what works well for one, may not work for another.  In general, Cocoa Butter is a wonderful product to use all over the body.  However, my recommendation for oily, acne prone skin would be Grapeseed Oil and/or Sweet Almond Oil.  I personally think Coconut Oil is a great choice too! Perhaps with a touch of Tea Tree Essential Oil for good measure.  ~ Donna @ Candora Soap

Hi Karen! 1L of coconut oil weighs right around 914g.. So not quite a kg. This would make our 4.5kg approx. 5L. Hope this helps! ~Donna

Hello, I am hoping to get certification with the leaping bunny program and in order to do so they require you to fill out the form on the link below. Its to state that you do not do any type of animal testing. If you could fill this out and send a confirmation letter to me that would be greatly appricated.
